Psychotherapy
This approach uses specific procedures to heal deep emotional wounds and to release people from serious and long standing conditions, in a systematic way. While counselling can resolve many problems, sometimes deeper therapy work is necessary. Problems or conditions that do not readily resolve, will usually have their origins in past experiences. Since these past experiences are often buried under many layers of subsequent experiences, access to them can be more difficult.
CBT (Cognitive Behaviour Therapy), EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), DNMS (Developmental Needs Meeting Strategy) and EFMT (Emotional Focused Marital Therapy) are the main approaches I use.

Psychotherapy can be a very rewarding experience leading to a greater sense of freedom within yourself, and is well worth the time and effort.
